Kristen Vander Lugt is an accomplished office manager and administrative assistant with extensive experience in outdoor education and community engagement. Currently serving the City of Ann Arbor since June 2017, Kristen has also held roles with the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan as an activity specialist and site administrator, where responsibilities included program development, training staff, and ensuring safety during activities. Prior experience includes a community outreach internship with the American Red Cross, where Kristen focused on educating the public about emergency preparedness, as well as a key holder position at Corningware Corelle Revere. Kristen's career began as a cabin counselor with the Girl Scouts, cultivating leadership and character in young campers. A graduate of Grand Valley State University, Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration.
