Mariah Walton is a seasoned public administration professional with extensive experience in city management and government operations. Currently serving as Deputy City Administrator for the City of Ann Arbor since March 2025, Mariah has previously held significant roles such as City Manager, City Clerk, and Director of Personnel for the City of Eastpointe from April 2020 to March 2025. Additional experience includes positions as Assistant City Manager and Circuit Court Clerk in Kent County from March 2016 to April 2020, and roles in youth services and foster care at Wellspring Lutheran Services and Peckham, Inc. Mariah holds a Master of Public Administration in Public Management from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Sociology from Michigan State University.
