Troy Williams

Troy Williams has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Troy is currently the Chief Equity Officer at the City of Arlington, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal and Attorney at Law at Key Esquire Consulting from 2017, providing strategic consulting services in law, public affairs, and leadership development with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. Troy also served as the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for Baltimore County from 2019 to 2022, leading the development of diversity programs and implementing equitable decision-making frameworks across the county government. In 2018-2019, they worked as a Financial Advisor Associate at Morgan Stanley. From 2010-2017, Troy held multiple roles at the United States Department of Justice's Community Oriented Policing Services Office, including Senior Program Manager and Senior Compliance Manager. Troy also served as a Community & Public Affairs Specialist at the United States Attorney's Office - District of Maryland from 1997 to 2010 and as an Institutional Development Officer at Baltimore City Community College from 1995 to 1997.

Troy Williams received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Howard University in 1992. Troy then obtained a Master's Degree in Adult Education - Administration from Coppin State University between 1993 and 1995. In 1999, Troy graduated with a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Troy further pursued their education at American University, earning a Master's Degree in Public Administration (Executive Leadership) from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Troy completed their College Preparatory studies at Calvert Hall College, H.S. in 1988.
