Brian Wismer

Brian Wismer is an experienced economic development and community planning professional currently serving as the Economic Development Director for the City of Fayetteville, GA, since June 2017. In addition to this role, Wismer has been the Executive Director of Fayetteville Main Street since January 2009, focusing on the revitalization of the downtown area through various strategic initiatives. Wismer also contributes as the Chairman of the Planning Commission for the City of Hapeville, overseeing development plans since 2007. Previously, Wismer held the position of Director of Community Development for Fayetteville from October 2011 to June 2017, where efforts were made to enhance the city's viability through regulatory updates and quality of life improvements. Wismer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from The University of Georgia and has previous education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
