Dr. Sherita Taylor

Dr. Sherita Taylor is a seasoned financial professional currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Grants Accounting Team within the Finance Department of the City of Atlanta since June 2023. With extensive experience, Dr. Taylor previously worked as a Grants and Contract Accountant at ExecuSource from March 2017 to May 2023, and prior to that held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at Emory University for over a decade, where responsibilities included post-award grants management, training, compliance, and financial reporting. Dr. Taylor also has a background as a Project Accountant at Georgia State University, managing a $10M portfolio, and as a Public Funding Administrator at YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta, overseeing a $7M portfolio. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Mississippi, an MBA from Saint Leo University, and a Doctor of Ministry from the Interdenominational Theological Center.
