Genevieve Jones

Genevieve Jones, J.M. has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. In their most recent role, they are currently serving as the Director of the Office of Entitlement and Competitive Compliance at the City of Atlanta. Prior to that, they were the CEO of G-Squared Events & Consulting, LLC.

Genevieve has also held various positions at the City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Emergency Preparedness, including Contract Administration Specialist and Project Analyst. In these roles, they were responsible for enhancing regional capabilities, analyzing data, and providing support for emergency operations and COVID-19 vaccination sites.

Before their time at the Mayor's Office, Genevieve worked as a Senior Case Manager at HOPE Atlanta, where they successfully helped individuals experiencing homelessness find permanent housing and developed training material for housing agencies.

Additionally, Genevieve has been an active member of SHRM and a member of Leadership South Fulton. Genevieve has also gained experience in retail management at Stein Mart, Armani Exchange, and Victoria's Secret.

Genevieve Jones, J.M. obtained a Juris Master degree in Legal Risk Management, Contracting, and Compliance from Florida State University College of Law in 2021. In 2020, they also received a certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2019, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Studies at Clayton State University. In 2003, Genevieve earned an Associate of Science degree in Human Resource and Development from the University of Florida. Additionally, in 2005, they obtained a certificate in Event Planning from Georgia State University Perimeter College.

Genevieve has also acquired several additional certifications, including a Notary Public Appointment from the Superior Court of Fulton County in July 2021. Genevieve also holds a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, which was obtained in 2021.
