Keyetta M. Holmes, AICP, is a seasoned urban planner with extensive experience in zoning and development. Currently serving as the Director for the City of Atlanta since January 2017, Keyetta has held multiple leadership roles including Interim Director and Zoning and Development Assistant Director. Keyetta administers the City's Zoning Ordinance, oversees staff within the Zoning Division, and manages the Board of Zoning Adjustments and the Zoning Review Board. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Planner for the City of East Point from August 2007 to December 2016, where responsibilities included processing Open Records requests and facilitating community meetings, as well as managing an Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant. Prior to that role, Keyetta worked as a Planner for Atlanta Public Schools (July 2002 - August 2007), focusing on land use applications, demographic analysis, and school attendance zoning. Keyetta holds a Master of Science in Emergency Management from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies from Georgia State University.
