Knut Hauer

Knut Hauer is an experienced environmental management professional with a robust background in project management and compliance oversight. Currently serving as a Project Manager and Pollution Control Manager for the City of Atlanta since October 2010, Knut Hauer manages environmental compliance programs, focusing on hazardous site characterization, remediation, and permitting. Previously, as Environmental Compliance Supervisor, Knut Hauer supervised inspections for over 600 residential and 150 commercial sites, ensuring adherence to NPDES and the Clean Water Act. Prior experience includes operating an independent forestry business, serving as Environmental Plan Review Supervisor for DeKalb County Government, and working as a Forester at Hatcher & Eiland.
