Maisha Wood

Maisha Wood is an experienced legislative manager with a robust background in community engagement and project communication. Since January 2002, Maisha has served as the Legislative Manager for Watershed Management at the City of Atlanta, focusing on building relationships with community leaders and facilitating departmental training for employees. Previously, Maisha worked as a Senior Council Assistant, coordinating community events and providing research and recommendations to the Council. Additional experience includes roles as a Logistics Coordinator at SMED International and EnPointe Technologies, where project management and service coordination were key responsibilities. Maisha began a career path at Georgia State University as the Director of Administration and Monetary Affairs for the Student Government Association, where event organization and staff management were integral to office operations. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy/Urban Studies from Georgia State University.
