Nic Cappon

Nic Cappon currently serves as Chief of Staff for Councilmember Liliana Bakhtiari in the City of Atlanta, a role held since September 2022. Previously, Cappon worked in the City of Buffalo from December 2017 to March 2022, where responsibilities included Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the Mayor. In 2017, Cappon was the Campaign Manager for Brown for Buffalo. Additional experience includes a fellowship at Cornell University from August 2015 to May 2017, and roles at the New York State Executive Chamber from December 2011 to August 2015 as Assistant Director of Operations and Scheduling and Special Assistant for Regional Affairs. Nic Cappon holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
