Patrise Perkins-Hooker

Patrise Perkins-Hooker is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as City Attorney for the City of Atlanta since May 2024, Patrise previously held the position of Administrative Partner at JOHNSON & FREEMAN, LLC from February 2021 to May 2024. As Vice President and General Counsel at Atlanta BeltLine, Inc. from December 2009 to May 2024, responsibilities included overseeing nonprofit corporate governance, contracts, procurement, and risk management. Patrise also served as President of the State Bar of Georgia from June 2014 to June 2015, leading a 40,000 member organization. Earlier positions include Head of the Commercial Real Estate Group at Hollowell, Foster & Gepp, PC from 2004 to 2009 and President and Founder of Patrise Perkins-Hooker & Associates, PC from 1994 to 2009. Educational credentials include an MBA in Accounting from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
