Praveen Hombaiah

Praveen Hombaiah has extensive experience in enterprise applications and business intelligence, currently serving as Director of Enterprise Applications at the City of Atlanta since July 2016. Previously, Praveen held various positions at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, including Technical Lead/PM, where leadership of the Business Intelligence team enhanced decision support systems for agency senior staff, Senior Programmer, and AVL Administrator, managing critical applications and serving as a Unix Administrator and Oracle DBA. Praveen's earlier career includes roles as an IT Infrastructure Engineer at Hsupply.com, Programmer Analyst at AT&T, and Unix System Administrator at Intergate India Ltd. Praveen earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Mysore from 1991 to 1995.
