Nancy Backus

Nancy Backus has been serving as the Mayor of the City of Auburn since January 2014, building on their experience as Deputy Mayor from 2003 to 2013. Prior to their political career, Nancy worked at Boeing as a Finance Manager, where Nancy received the Career Foundation Program Manager of the Year Award in 2011. Nancy also served as a Company Advisor for Gdynia Business Week in 2010. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from City University of Seattle and an AA in Accounting from Green River College.
