Craig James

Craig James has built a diverse career in public service and recreation since completing a Bachelor of Business Administration from Augusta University in 2014. Currently serving as a firefighter for the City of Augusta since June 2021, Craig also holds the position of Center Coordinator for North Augusta Parks, Recreation, & Leisure Services. Previous roles include Recreation Specialist II and Interim Recreation Specialist III at the City of Augusta and Program Director at The Family YMCA, where responsibilities included supervising staff, managing budgets, and overseeing various recreation programs. Craig's experience also encompasses coaching at Harlem High School and supervising intramural sports at Augusta University, demonstrating a strong commitment to community engagement and sports management.
