Andrea L. has a diverse range of work experience in engineering and education. Andrea is currently working at the City of Aurora as a Principal Engineer, where they have held various roles including Senior Engineer and Project Manager since 2017. Prior to this, they worked at Kennedy/Jenks Consultants as a Project Design Engineer, collaborating with the City of Aurora on capital projects. Andrea has also worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center, teaching Professional Engineering exam refresher courses. Andrea has additional engineering experience at Olsson Associates, Red Rocks Community College, RW Armstrong, Golder Associates, and the Indiana Department of Transportation. Their expertise spans areas such as water resources, wastewater treatment, infrastructure, transportation, and environmental design.
Andrea L. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering and earned a minor in Environmental Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. Furthermore, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2020.
