Daniel Cunningham

Daniel Cunningham has over two decades of experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant for the City of Aurora since December 2004, Daniel prepares financial statements for various funds, including an $11 million Gifts and Grants Fund and a $34 million Capital Projects Fund, while managing Federal Single Audits ranging from $9-20 million. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a Controller at Refrigeration Service, Inc. from June 1994 to December 2006, overseeing all accounting functions and supervising bookkeeping staff. Additionally, between September 1999 and December 2003, Daniel held the position of Senior Accountant at ATT, focusing on month-end closes and financial variance analyses. Daniel holds a BSBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Denver and an AAS in Business Administration and Management from SUNY Canton.
