George Koumantakis

George Koumantakis is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Criminal Prosecution Manager for the City of Aurora since August 2006, overseeing criminal prosecutors in the City Attorney's Office. Prior roles include serving as an Assistant City Attorney, where George provided legal advice to various departments, focusing primarily on Land Use issues within the Planning Department, and previously as a Criminal Prosecutor. Prior to working in Aurora, George was a Deputy District Attorney for the 18th Judicial District, prosecuting criminal cases, and also held positions as a Compliance Analyst with CFP Board, and as an Assistant City Attorney in Aurora. George's career began as an Admissions Counselor at Regis University after completing a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Business, Spanish, and Greek at Regis University, followed by a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law.
