Terri Velasquez, CPA, CPFO has extensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Terri began their career at the City of Colorado Springs in 1987, where they held various roles including Auditor, Accounting, Finance, CFO, and Admin Svcs Director. Terri remained with the City of Colorado Springs until 2012. In 2012, Terri joined the City of Aurora as the Deputy Finance Director, a position they held until February 2015. In March 2015, they were promoted to the role of Finance Director, where they continue to serve.
Terri Velasquez, CPA, CPFO holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Additionally, they have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same university.
