Elizabeth Coronado Abrego

Elizabeth Coronado Abrego has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Elizabeth began their career in 2000 as a Human Resource Generalist in the United States Air Force. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Human Resources Manager at Lowe's Home Improvement. Elizabeth then moved on to become the Employee Relations Manager at Custom Culinary in 2007. In 2008, they joined Two Rivers Head Start Agency as a Human Resource Administrator until 2014. Elizabeth then worked as a Human Resources Generalist at the City of Aurora from 2014 to 2019, before being promoted to Assistant Director of Human Resources until July 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Human Resources Director at the City of Aurora. Additionally, they served as a Logistics Specialist in the US Navy Reserve from 2011 to 2015.

Elizabeth Coronado Abrego attended Waubonsee Community College from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to 2005, they studied Sociology at the University of Illinois Chicago, but did not obtain a degree.
