Jon Zaghloul

Jon Zaghloul has extensive experience in communications and sports broadcasting, currently serving as Communications Manager for the City of Aurora since December 2022 and previously as Digital Communications Coordinator. At Sports Talk Chicago, a role held from August 2013 to August 2024, Jon was President, Director of Marketing and Communications, and On-Air Talent, managing a highly rated podcast and achieving significant growth on digital platforms. Additional roles include On-Air Talent at VPOD TV and WCKG, where Jon hosted sports shows and managed substantial social media followings. Jon also contributed to the University of Chicago as a Sports Broadcaster and Research Assistant while holding broadcasting roles at Crestwood Panthers and Victor J. Andrew High School, where Jon earned national recognition. Jon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
