Michael Pegues

Michael Pegues has a diverse work experience spanning from 1995 to the present. Michael has held positions such as Chief Information Officer for the City of Aurora, Chair & CEO of OnLight Aurora, and Associate Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Michael has also worked at companies like Morgan Stanley, Vodafone, Atlantic Società a Responsabilità Limitata, HP, United States Department of Defense, PepsiCo, and AT&T. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in information technology, project management, and business development.

Michael Pegues earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, which they attended from 1992 to 1997. Michael later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Global Executive Management from Central European University, which they completed from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their degrees, Michael also obtained several certifications in the field of IT service management, including ITIL® V3 Intermediate Level certifications in various service lifecycles from PEOPLECERT and EXIN, as well as an ITIL® version 3 Foundation Certification from EXIN. Michael also holds a certification in Foundations of City Innovation: Strategy, Leadership & Innovation from Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, which they obtained in August 2019.
