Doug Choate

Doug Choate is a seasoned Information Technology Business Analyst with extensive experience in analyzing business problems and developing IT solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Information Technology Business Analyst for the City of Austin since June 2019, Doug focuses on understanding business needs and creating detailed requirements documents. Prior to this role, Doug held various leadership positions at Texas NICUSA, LLC, including Continual Service Improvement Engineer and Manager of Microsoft Platform Technical Operations, where responsibilities included project management and team leadership. Doug's earlier career includes significant roles at BearingPoint, Inc. and Microsoft, where expertise in Microsoft Platform solutions and operations management was developed. Doug holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Science from Lamar University and completed an Executive Education program in Leadership Skills at the Yale School of Management.
