Marcus Griggs

Marcus Griggs is a seasoned professional in public health and social services, currently serving as a Public Health Program Coordinator for the City of Austin since October 2025. With extensive experience at The SAFE Alliance from August 2014 to August 2025, Marcus held various roles including Strong Start Program Manager, where responsibilities included hiring, training, and supervising staff, and as a Fatherhood Specialist, providing crucial parent education and domestic violence prevention support. Additional experience includes roles at SafePlace and Intercare Therapy, alongside volunteer efforts with The Man In Me, focusing on support for men and fathers in Central Texas. Marcus holds a B.S. in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2000.
