Greg Zilka has been serving as the Mayor of Avon Lake since March 2003 and previously held the position of Council President. With a long-standing commitment to education, Greg Zilka worked as an educator for Avon Lake City Schools from August 1971 until May 2006. Greg Zilka earned a Master's in Education with a focus on Social Studies from Kent State University, where studies were completed between 1976 and 1979, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the same institution, completed from 1964 to 1969.
