Gregory Brown

Gregory Brown currently serves as the Superintendent of Building Repairs and Maintenance for the City of Baltimore, a position held since November 2022, where responsibilities include ensuring timely completion of repairs and work orders. Previously, Brown worked as a Building Manager for the State of Maryland DGS from February 2019 to November 2022, overseeing repair completion and work order management. Prior experience includes a role as Solid Waste Supervisor at the Baltimore City DPW, managing employee schedules and performance evaluations, and a long tenure as Maintenance Supervisor for the State of Maryland, beginning in 2002, where work involved supervising inmates as a Boot Camp Drill Instructor. Earlier military experience includes serving as a Meteorologist/Equipment Specialist in the U.S. Army from 1997 to 2001, providing crucial weather data to support military operations. Brown pursued studies in Computer Engineering at Coppin State University between 1994 and 1997.
