Jim Hicks

Jim Hicks has over two decades of experience in public service and administration, currently serving as the Director of Administrative Services in the Office of Information and Technology for the City of Baltimore since December 2013. Hicks has overseen multiple public service programs with an aggregate annual budget exceeding $20 million, directly supervising six program directors. Previous roles include Director of the Office of Rehabilitation Services, managing federal and state-funded housing assistance, and Community Outreach Supervisor in Phoenix, overseeing application processes for housing rehabilitation. Additional experience includes leadership with Food for the Hungry, Inc. in China and immigration services at Lutheran Social Services. Jim Hicks holds a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Political Science from The College of Wooster.
