Gibran Graham

Gibran Graham has extensive experience in leadership and marketing roles across various organizations in Bangor, Maine. Since August 2011, Gibran has served as the Chief Executive Rabbit at The Briar Patch, a children's bookstore, while also managing marketing and events. Gibran has been a COE-Conspirator at COESPACE since July 2014, fostering a creative environment for artists and businesses. As a City Councilor representing Bangor, Gibran holds the position of Chair of the Infrastructure Committee. In addition, Gibran is the Executive Director of BangPop!, responsible for expanding the region's pop culture events since 2008. Previous roles include Executive Director for the City of Brewer's Bicentennial Celebration and positions in membership and sales at Greater Bangor Convention & Visitors Bureau and Eastern Maine Development Corporation. Gibran's earlier career included a sales role at Borders Group and editorial work with Maine Times and Maine Campus. Gibran's educational background includes studies at Emerson College and Newburyport High School.
