Alex Nuttall

Alex Nuttall serves as the Mayor of the City of Barrie since November 2022. Prior to this role, Nuttall was the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service at NFTC - North Frontenac Telephone Company from November 2019 to November 2022. Nuttall also represented Barrie–Springwater–Oro-Medonte as a Member of Parliament from October 2015 to November 2019, during which time held the position of Official Opposition Shadow Minister for Youth, Sports, and Persons with Disabilities. Previous experience includes serving as a Commercial Account Manager at Meridian Credit Union from July 2013 to November 2015 and as a City Councillor for Ward 10 in the City of Barrie from December 2006 to December 2014. Education was obtained at Redeemer University.
