Melanie Rumley

Melanie Rumley is an experienced communications professional with a career spanning over 15 years in various roles. Currently serving as a Communications Advisor for the City of Barrie since November 2018, Melanie previously worked as a Communications Officer at the Simcoe County District School Board from September 2008 to October 2018. Additional roles include Project Assistant at the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority from March 2008 to August 2008, Education Manager for the Canadian Marketing Association from January 2004 to March 2008, and Events Coordinator at CACEE in 2003-2004. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology - Classical and Pre-Historic from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Post-Graduate degree in Public Relations from Niagara College.
