Kristi Francavilla has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Kristi started their career at Hub Group in 1996 as an Accounts Receivable Clerk and later moved into various accounting and HR management positions. In 2006, they joined Shelby County Trustee as the Manager of Treasury & Property Tax. Since 2015, they have been working at the City of Bartlett, initially as a Finance Manager and currently as the Assistant Director of Finance.
Kristi Francavilla completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a focus on expository writing, at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1989 to 1993. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law from 1994 to 1996, although they did not obtain a degree in law.
In addition to their academic credentials, Kristi Francavilla has obtained certifications in the field of finance. In November 2017, they earned the CMFO (Certified Municipal Finance Officer) certification from the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. Prior to that, in July 2012, they obtained the CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) certification from the Association for Financial Professionals.
