Robert Barron

Robert Barron is a Geographic Information Systems Analyst with extensive experience in GIS roles across various organizations. Currently employed by the City of Bastrop, Texas since April 2023, Robert has previously worked at the Plum Creek Conservation District and as a GIS Freelancer. Notable past positions include managing GIS projects at AGIS, LLC and serving as Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at Kaemark, Inc., where database management systems were developed. Prior experience also includes providing GIS consultancy to emergency responders at AGISMD, LLC, and leading GIS initiatives at the Texas General Land Office, collaborating on coastal projects and oil spill response resources. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in University Studies with a focus on Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
