Previously, Kim Brooks worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the East Baton Rouge District Attorney's Office from August 1992 to August 2003, focusing on felony prosecution and major trial litigation. Kim Brooks holds a Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Loyola University New Orleans.
