Katharine King

Katharine King, MPA, CEcD, currently serves as the Economic Development Director for the City of Belgrade, MT, since July 2024. Previously, Katharine held the position of Assistant Director of Community Development for the City of Kalispell from July 2016 to August 2024, where responsibilities included directing multimillion-dollar community development projects and managing staff. Prior roles in Kalispell included Community Development Manager and Assistant to the City Manager, with responsibilities in grant writing and economic development. Earlier in career, Katharine was the Executive Director for Flathead CARE and Flathead Food Bank, leading efforts on operations, budgets, and community programming. Katharine earned a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Montana.
