Alison Kolberg

Alison Kolberg has a diverse work experience. Alison is currently the Founder and Lead Developer at Community Design & Research, a position they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the City of Bellevue, Washington, starting in 2017. Their roles at the City of Bellevue included Business Process Analyst, where they served as a liaison between the department and IT, managed SharePoint requests, and created test cases; and Assistant Utility Reviewer, where they validated drawings and reports and managed competing deadlines efficiently.

In 2017, Alison also worked at Microsoft as an Operations contractor, streamlining the internal protocol for tracking interview status. Alison joined Seattle City Light in 2016 as a Network GIS Intern, where they created a process to digitize electrical facility survey maps and produced high-quality maps for internal and external use.

Earlier in their career, Alison worked at Grundschule Hilpoltstein as an English Language Instructor, designing and teaching English lessons and collaborating with teachers on lesson plans. Alison also had an internship at CHF Lichttechnik GmbH.
