Brittany Quan

Brittany Quan has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management. Brittany currently works as a Transportation Engineer at the City of Bellevue, Washington. Prior to this, they worked as a Civil Engineer for the City of Seattle, focusing on Neighborhood Greenways projects. Brittany also gained experience as a Design Engineer at Washington State Department of Transportation, where they worked as an intern and later as a Design Engineer II in training.

In addition to their engineering roles, Brittany has also been involved in various positions at the University of Washington, including being a member of UW Concrete Canoe and working as a Physics and Engineering Tutor. Brittany also worked as a Physics TA for the University of Washington Summer Health Professionals Education Program.

Brittany has previous internship experiences as well. Brittany interned at the Society of Women Engineers and Seattle Public Utilities, where they gained hands-on experience in environmental engineering. Brittany also completed internships at Aerojet Rocketdyne and Genie - a Terex brand, where they worked on projects related to rocket development and robotics.

Brittany Quan obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Washington College of Engineering from 2015 to 2019. In addition, they obtained certification as a Civil Engineer in Training from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in June 2019. Brittany also obtained certification as a Laboratory Aggregate Testing Technician (LATT) from the Washington Aggregate Quality Control Technician (WAQTC) in June 2018.
