Chris B. has an extensive work history in various roles within the healthcare industry. They began their career at HBSI (formerly Truven Health Analytics, now GE) as a Content Analyst, where they developed and integrated user requirements for a financial and operational benchmarking product. They then moved on to the University of Washington Medical Center, where they worked as a Cardiothoracic and Solid Organ Transplant Decision Support Analyst, advising administrators and surgeons on clinical and financial analysis for new and existing programs.

Chris also worked at Providence Health & Services as a Program Manager, overseeing clinical benchmarking and information integration. They later joined Northwest Hospital as a Manager of Decision Support, where they managed a team during merger due diligence and IT outsourcing conversations. They also proposed strategic opportunities for the hospital's long-range financial plan.

At Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, Chris held roles as the Director of Service Line Development, where they developed agreements to advance healthcare services, and as the Regional Manager of Budget and Decision Support, where they managed financial performance and collaboration across multiple operating entities.

They then joined Vizient, Inc as a Director, initially in Custom Services, conducting opportunity assessments for a large health system's supply chain group. Later, as the Director of Performance Improvement, Chris provided program leadership for quality and affordability collaboratives.

Chris then served as the Interim Director of Decision Support Services at UCSF Medical Center before joining UW Medicine. At UW Medicine, they worked as a Business Systems Analyst, supporting the departments of Neurosurgery and Neurology.

Currently, Chris works at the City of Bellevue, Washington, as a Senior Business Process Analyst for the Bellevue Fire Department's Data & Systems bureau. They support first responders in measuring, managing, and improving operational excellence, specifically in preparation for accreditation surveys.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, benchmarking, program management, and financial performance management within the healthcare industry.

Chris B. started their education at Princeton University from 1989 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Chris then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University from 1994 to 1996. After a brief break from their studies, Chris decided to further enhance their knowledge in Finance, and from 2001 to 2005, they attended Seattle University to achieve a Master's degree in Finance.
