Cindy Shelton has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Cindy started their career at Shoreline Community College in 1986 as an Instructor, where they taught for over a year. In 1984, they joined C.A.P.R.I as a Program Director & Enrollment Coordinator, where they supervised staff and directed medically supervised exercise programs for patients. In 1997, they became a Recreation Supervisor at the City of Woodinville, responsible for managing and supervising recreational facilities, programs, and special events. Cindy worked there until 2010, when they joined the City of Kenmore as a Volunteer and Special Events Supervisor. During their tenure, they developed and implemented volunteer programs and supervised various special events. Currently, they are working at the City of Bellevue, Washington, as a Program Manager. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing recreation facilities and special events, setting program objectives, and collaborating with other supervisors, departments, and community groups.

Cindy Shelton attended the University of Washington from 1979 to 1983, where they pursued a degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Physiology. Later on, they also studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science at the same university, although the specific years are not provided.
