Darwin Li

Darwin Li has a diverse work experience history. Darwin started their career as an Office Assistant at Coldwell Banker Bain in 2008 and held this position until 2012. In 2012, they interned at the Seattle Department of Transportation, where they worked as an Engineering Research Aide and gained experience in various aspects of transportation systems, including analyzing trends, monitoring traffic conditions, and relaying information to the public.

After their internship, Darwin joined Transpo Group in 2014 as an Engineering Intern and eventually progressed to the roles of Transportation Engineer I and II. While at Transpo Group, they worked on transportation engineering projects and contributed to the design and implementation of street lanes into the Hansen database.

In 2021, Darwin joined the City of Bellevue, Washington as a Senior Development Review Engineer. Currently, they hold this position and is involved in reviewing and assessing development proposals.

Darwin Li received their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington Seattle, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Darwin became a Professional Engineer in October 2018 through NCEES, and in August 2020, they obtained the Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification from TPCB.
