Deontae Elder has a diverse work experience in the transportation industry. Deontae currently holds the position of Transportation Engineer/Project Manager at the City of Bellevue, Washington, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Transportation Engineer at the Washington State Department of Transportation from July 2022 to June 2023. Deontae also served as a Transportation Project Manager at the City of Tukwila from February 2022 to July 2022, where they oversaw the traffic calming operation and overlay program, collaborating with the city and public on traffic-related needs.
