John Anderson

Senior Software Architect, Dev Lead at CITY OF BELLEVUE

John Anderson has over 30 years of work experience in various roles, starting from Westinghouse as a Design Engineer in 1990. John then worked at Savannah River Technologies as a Design Engineer and Partner from 1994 to 1996, followed by a role as a Consultant at Mariner LLC from 1996 to 1999. John then joined Extreme Logic as a Senior Consultant, where they developed custom applications for industries and was involved in the acquisition of the company by Hewlett-Packard. From 2003 to 2005, John worked at Hewlett-Packard as a Practice Principal, managing a team of developers and providing enterprise application solutions. After that, they founded Business Process Technologies in 2005, where they created a SaaS workflow and data transformation service. In 2008, John joined Basic American Foods as a Senior Manager of IT Systems and Senior Information Architect, overseeing all IT systems and managing a group of developers. Currently, John is working as a Senior Software Architect and Dev Lead at the City of Bellevue, Washington, where they are responsible for architectural design and leading software development projects.

John Anderson earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia from 1986 to 1990.
