Trevelyn L. is an experienced professional in the field of geology and geospatial analysis. Trevelyn has held a variety of roles throughout their career, starting as a Geoscience Intern at the University of Calgary in 2006. From there, they gained experience as a Hydrology Intern at Groundwater and Environmental Services, Inc. in 2007, where they worked on groundwater mapping and contamination data processing.

Trevelyn then moved on to be a Lunar Exploration Summer Intern at the Lunar and Planetary Institute in 2009, where they contributed to a team evaluating lunar landing sites for exploration missions. At the State University of New York at Buffalo, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2008 to 2011, generating geologic maps of the Aristarchus plateau on the Moon and analyzing the limitations of incomplete datasets for geologic mapping.

Trevelyn continued their career as a Geologist at the Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys in 2011, where they designed and managed databases, generated geospatial data, and performed field work for a mapping project. Trevelyn then joined Shannon & Wilson, Inc. in 2012 as a Geologist IV, focusing on project management, budgeting, and delivering regulatory-compliant environmental projects.

In 2015, Trevelyn became a GIT Specialist at Michael Baker International, Inc., supporting engineering and environmental groups with geospatial data management and analysis. Trevelyn also played a lead role in developing and transitioning to an Enterprise GIS solution in the Anchorage office. Trevelyn then moved on to become the GIS Market Sector Lead/GIS Analyst at PACE Engineers, Inc. in 2017, where they managed the strategic direction of the company's GIS program and led GIS projects.

Currently, Trevelyn holds the position of Utilities GIS Lead at the City of Bellevue, Washington since 2018.

Trevelyn L. has a strong educational background in geology and geosciences. They obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geosciences from Hamilton College, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. In 2007, Trevelyn L. completed a 40-hour training in HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) from Environmental Technical Group, Inc.

Afterward, Trevelyn L. pursued a Master of Science degree in Geology with a focus on Geologic Mapping from the University at Buffalo. They attended this program from 2008 to 2011. In 2012, they also obtained a CPR, AED, and First Aid for Adults certification from MEDIC First Aid International.

To further enhance their expertise in the field, Trevelyn L. completed a GIS Certificate - Experienced Professional Track program from Penn State World Campus from 2016 to 2017. As part of this certification, they obtained the GISP (GIS Professional) credential in December 2015 from GISCI (GIS Certification Institute).
