Angela Tinwell

Angela Tinwell, CPA, currently serves as the Financial Systems Manager for the City of Bellingham since December 2016, leading the implementation and administration of the City's Enterprise Resource Planning software system. Prior to this role, Angela held positions within the City of Bellingham as Accounting Manager and Internal Auditor, overseeing accounting staff and managing annual audits while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Angela's earlier experience includes working as an Assurance Services Manager at Moss Adams LLP, where expertise was applied in performing financial statement and compliance audits for governmental entities, and as a Revenue Auditor Intern at the Washington State Department of Revenue. Angela earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Western Washington University in 2006.
