Michael L. Wilson is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in public works and engineering project management. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Public Works-Engineering/City Engineer for the City of Bellingham since November 2023, Michael previously held the position of Project Manager at CRS Engineers from March 2018 to November 2023, focusing on various projects including drinking water and flood control. Prior to that, Michael was the General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of the Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake & Sandy, overseeing significant capital improvement projects and annual water supply delivery for a large population. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant General Manager at Sandy City, where Michael managed various engineering operations and coordinated project developments, as well as a Junior Civil Engineer at Caltrans. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Utah State University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
