Accounting Technician at City of Bellingham

Peggy Graham has extensive experience in accounting and administrative roles, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as an Accounting Technician at the City of Bellingham since July 2016, Peggy manages accounts payable and receivable, assists with the annual Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), and coordinates billing and receipting processes. Prior to this role, Peggy worked at the Port of Bellingham as a Collections Specialist/Accountant, overseeing all aspects of collections. Peggy also held the position of Accounting Supervisor at the City of Lake Forest Park, where responsibilities included municipal accounting, daily bank reconciliation, annual report preparation, and payroll processing assistance. Earlier roles included Service Department Manager at Greenwood Heating, Planning & Public Works Administrative Assistant at the City of Ferndale, and Secretary at Seattle Iron & Metals Corp. Peggy's education includes studies at North Seattle College and North Seattle Community College.
