Daniel Matthews

Daniel (Marino) Matthews is an Assistant Engineer with the City of Belmont, CA, since July 2024, overseeing projects like the 2024 Slurry Seal Project and the Pavement Management Plan. Prior experience includes serving as an Office Assistant and Engineering Intern with the City of South San Francisco, where responsibilities included resource management, GIS mapping, and public safety improvements. Daniel is also involved in creative marketing and community engagement as a Projectionist at Green Light Cinema. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Sustainable Civil Course Concentration from the University of San Francisco, where Daniel also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Department Assistant. Prior to these roles, Daniel gained leadership experience at AMC Theatres.
