Jennifer Baker is an accomplished librarian and educator with extensive experience in public library services and communications. Currently serving as the City Librarian for the City of Benicia since December 2021, Jennifer has also been a Trainer/Presenter, sharing expertise in adult programming, volunteer engagement, and best practices in libraries since November 2011. Previous roles include Communications Media Specialist at Napa Valley Unified School District and Library Director at St. Helena Public Library, where Jennifer managed a $1.3 million budget and established key partnerships. Jennifer's earlier positions included Supervising Librarian roles at Solano County Library and Fresno County Public Library, and a Children's Librarian position at a previous institution. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Public Administration from California State University, Fresno, and a Master’s in Library Science from Texas Woman's University.
