David Townsend

David Townsend has a distinguished career in law enforcement, highlighted by a tenure at the Bentonville Police Department from March 1996 to February 2024, where roles included Captain, Lieutenant, and Detective Sergeant overseeing the Narcotics Unit. Prior to that, David Townsend served as a Task Force Officer with the Drug Enforcement Administration from June 2000 to September 2012, focusing on state and federal narcotics law enforcement. Following retirement from the Bentonville Police Department in February 2024, David Townsend continues to pursue professional development through various law enforcement training programs, including courses in narcotics investigations and leadership.
