Alexandra Endress is an experienced waterfront manager with a robust background in urban planning and economic development. Currently serving as Waterfront Manager for the City of Berkeley since January 2016, Alexandra leads project management under the Assistant City Manager, overseeing strategic planning, public engagement, and budget management. Previously, as Waterfront Development Manager for the City of Pittsburg from February 2010 to December 2015, Alexandra managed waterfront operations and played a significant role in housing and development initiatives. Early career roles include positions as an Associate Planner, Urban Planner for PMC, and various internships, all contributing to a strong foundation in land use, zoning, and community enrichment. Alexandra holds a BA in Human Geography and Urban Planning and a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
