Alice la Pierre

Alice La Pierre has over two decades of experience in energy efficiency and building science, currently serving as a Building Scientist and Energy Efficiency Coordinator for the City of Berkeley since July 2000. In this role, Alice manages capital projects focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy, oversees project budgets, and conducts energy data analysis. Additionally, Alice is a technical expert providing analysis for the California Energy Commission regarding energy efficiency programs. Previously, Alice worked at the City of Berkeley Office of Energy & Sustainable Development and served as a Senior Staff Associate at MIT, where responsibilities included project management and staff supervision. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a focus on Architectural and Building Sciences from Wellesley College and UC-Berkeley, along with additional studies in Architecture and Building Science at UC-Berkeley College of Environmental Design.
