Dé Williams

Dé(Seana) Williams currently serves as the Executive Director of the City of Berkeley's Rent Stabilization Board, a position held since November 2021. In this role, Dé(Seana) oversees the regulation of residential rent increases, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, and advancing housing policies to support low and fixed-income individuals, minorities, students, the disabled, and the aged. Prior to this position, Dé(Seana) was the Director of Resident Services at the Detroit Housing Commission from July 2006 to October 2021.Educationally, Dé(Seana) holds a Masters of Public Administration with a focus on Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Public Policy Administration from the University of Phoenix, in addition to participating in Leadership Detroit through the Regional Chamber of Commerce.
